Empire Dining Table, Germany 1810-20 This unique and very elegant Empire table dates back to around 1810-20. It comes from Germany. It was probably made in the northern part of Germany or possibly in Berlin. The table stands out for its beautiful mahogany veneer and the exquisitely designed base. The top is raised on a central hexagonal foot which stands on a trefoil base. Foot and base are connected by three s-shaped wood strips with brass decor. The base stands on three brass lion paw casters. Details The table measures Height: 29.53 in. (75 cm), Diameter: 47.25 in. (120 cm) and is in very good refinished condition.
