Keith Brymer Jones has been creating designer tableware for over 30 years. Since 2015 he has shared his potting wisdom and passion on our TV screens. An expert judge on the hit Channel 4 show, The Great Pottery Throw Down. As a result, this has made him a cultural icon and his tears over the contestants executing their tasks brilliantly a must watch. At the start of 2025, Keith crowned the champion of GPTD in its 8th series! Keith is a passionate advocate for art, craft and design education. As a result, he was appointed as a patron for The National Society for Education in Art and Design. In 2019, Keith received an Honorary Doctorate of Arts from Staffordshire University. He received it for his continued work with the University as well as the city of Stoke-on-Trent, the home of the pottery industry. He continues to talk passionately about his work and the wider arts community at various events across the country. The design stage of each new product and the perfect prototype starts on Keith’s potter’s wheel in his UK studio. The full production then takes place in China. Unquestionably, a country with a deep-rooted history in expert ceramic production. Keith works closely with a team of highly skilled craftsmen to perfect the delicate production process.
