18th century Italian fireplace surround constructed from individual limestone blocks. Hand carved roping adorns the fire box opening and the mantel legs broaden to accommodate a sizable mantel and shelf. The mantel was reclaimed with its old iron hooks intact. 61″w x 53 1/2″h x 19″ d. Good condition. Wear consistent with age and use.
